Job Vacancy- Project/Service Manager
Project manager to accomplishes project objectives by planning, controlling and evaluating the different type of projects/services managed in Valid: Setup, Support and Operation. The person required for the role should have strong technical background in banking or mobile services.
For the setup phase of the projects:
Define the scope of the project in collaboration with senior management
Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project. Maintain it update until the end of the project.
Ensure that all phases are planned and accomplished: initiation, planning, design, development, certification, installation and internal test, customer acceptance.
Determine the resources (time, money, equipment, etc) required to complete the project
Ensure that all project personnel receive an appropriate orientation to the organization and the project
Ensure that all project information is appropriately documented and secured
Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project
Establish a communication schedule to update stakeholders including appropriate staff in the organization on the progress of the project. A weekly status must be sent to external/Internal customer.
Review the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards
Monitor cash flow projections and report actual cash flow and variance to senior management on a regular basis
Ensure that all financial records for the project are up to date and prepare financial reports
Ensure that the project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality
For support/operation projects:
Manage relationship with the customer
Meet financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
Manage the meetings and formal reporting to customer when contractually agreed
Make sure customer requests are not out of contract scope
Be proactive on the problem faced by the customer in the contract scope (corrective action, advice, customer satisfaction)
Manage Partners and 3rd party communication and contracts
Escalation point for all stakeholders
Manage internal and external communication during crisis time
Monitor periodic operation
EXPERIENCE TIME REQUIRED TO THIS JOB:
5-10 years of IT experience in any of the following areas: Development, platforms Integration, Support, Testing or Maintenance.
At least 1 year as a Project manager.
Experience in Banking/Mobile Technology preferred.
SPECIALIZATION AND/OR TRAINING AND/OR KNOWLEDGE:
Experience in development, Integration and/or Support platforms is required.
Project management specialization is a plus
PMI certification is a plus
Fluency in English
Spanish/Portuguese/French is a plus
